Ask our Accessibility Expert (Pilot Projects)

The APACE network supports European publishers in their efforts to create born accessible digital publications. In order to uncover possible challenges and discuss possible solutions, we are organizing a number of online and in person events. 

Join the APACE team on Wednesday 26 November 2025 online and pose your questions to our expert experiments done in collaboration with specialized organisations and publishers.

Ask the expert about the pilot projects on accessible publishing

Join the APACE Ask the Expert session with Dedicon’s accessibility and image specialist Anke Kersten and Vincas Grigas, Head of scholarly journals Vilnius University Press who will talk about the outcomes of the APACE accessibility pilot projects. During the past year APACE conducted a number of pilot projects, in which accessibility experts and publishing partners collaborated to remediate complex e-book samples and to surface practical improvements to production workflows.
